Logistics specialist takes over the Erich Haslbeck freight forwarding company near Dingolfing in Bavaria
Bocholt, Niederviehbach, 3 July 2024 – The logistics company, Duvenbeck, is boosting its presence in Bavaria. The logistics specialist took over the operations of the freight forwarding company, Erich Haslbeck, which has its headquarters in Niederviehbach near Dingolfing, with effect from 1 July this year. The Haslbeck family business, which was founded in 1971, specialises in factory traffic for the Bavarian automobile industry as well as freight forwarding and logistics services for Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and the construction industry.
Logistics specialist uses biogenic fuel to transport goods sustainably
Bocholt, 24 June 2024 – The official approval for the sale of the biogenic fuel, HVO100, has been available in Germany since the end of May. The Duvenbeck Group has been one of the first logistics companies to secure its quota of the fuel in order to switch parts of its truck fleet to normal operations with HVO100.
We took a further step towards implementing our growth plans in February of this year with the acquisition of Schotpoort Logistics. Good news now from the Netherlands. The supervisory authorities there have now finally given the go-ahead for the takeover.
In cooperation with our fuel supplier #OMV, we have put our first B2B #eMotion charging station for e-vehicles into operation at our Hungarian site in Hegyeshalom. With this pilot project, we are OMV's first partner in Hungary to implement a solution for more sustainable mobility. Now our employees can conveniently charge their electric vehicles on the company premises and the way is clear for the electrification of our company car fleet. We look forward to further strengthening our partnership with OMV and contributing to a climate-friendly future.
With the official launch on April 4, 2024, the first exclusive Helrom block train will start its journey. The new Helrom Trailer Rail connection is part of AUDI AG's logistics chain and connects the supply of materials for the three Audi sites in Ingolstadt, Neckarsulm and Győr via the rail route from Regensburg in Germany to Lébény in Hungary. The project is a cooperation between AUDI AG, the Duvenbeck logistics group, bayernhafen and Helrom.
Complete processing of orders for Internet stores and industrial customers at the new fulfilment centre in Böblingen
Bocholt / Böblingen, 3 April 2024 – Duvenbeck, the logistics company, has launched operations in the e-fulfilment sector. The logistics specialist put into service a new fulfilment centre in Böblingen near Stuttgart at the beginning of this year in order to process orders for goods that are bought online. This is where Duvenbeck provides all the services that operators of Internet stores or online market places require for their e-commerce business. Online traders can now obtain warehousing, stock management, packaging and returns management as a complete package from Duvenbeck.
Climate-neutral transport services support the automobile supplier’s environment strategy
Bocholt / Saarbrücken, 11 March 2024 – Duvenbeck, the logistics company, is putting its faith in the renewable and climate-friendly fuel, biomethane (biogas), at its business site in Saarbrücken when providing services for the automobile supplier, ZF. In addition to switching the inter-factory traffic to battery-powered trucks for short distances, the company is introducing a source of energy, which is obtained from renewable sources such as agricultural waste, for its long-distance services. The biogas to be used is supplied by ‘ViGo bioenergy’ from certified organic waste processes. The switch involves 40 vehicles. As a result, the company will be able to reduce its CO2 emissions by up to 8,000 tonnes per annum.
The logistics specialist takes over the Dutch company, Schotpoort Logistics
Bocholt / Eerbeek (NL), 23 February 2024 - The logistics company, Duvenbeck, is expanding its network to include the Benelux region. The agreement to take over the Dutch transport and logistics company, Schotpoort Logistics, was signed on 19 February 2024. The arrangement is still subject to approval by the cartel authorities. The family-owned company, which has its headquarters in Eerbeek near Arnhem, specialises in transport, warehousing, contract and project logistics.
