At the beginning of the new year, the safety management system implemented in 2020 at Duvenbeck Transport GmbH in Dingden was successfully certified according to DIN ISO 28000. The establishment of a safety management system in accordance with the standard was carried out at the request of the customer IKEA. The successful certification now gives us access to one of the largest European shippers.

 

The successful certification in the area of security in the supply chain results from the smooth cross-company cooperation of Duvenbeck Transport GmbH and the quality management of Duvenbeck Consulting GmbH.

 

The certification obtained is currently considered a unique selling point on the German market, as only a small number of companies have such certification. This opens up the possibility for us to acquire further new customers. In the future, we plan to roll out ISO 28000 certification to additional locations.
