Campaign “Blind Spot - Attention Truck" at the Einstein-Gymnasium Rheda-Wiedenbrück!

After the success of the previous “blind spot" campaigns, the Duvenbeck group again presented this campaign at the Einstein-Gymnasium in Rheda-Wiedenbrück in cooperation with the Gütersloh police.

Approximately 280 pupils of the 5th and 6th grade participated in the “Blind Spot - Attention Truck" campaign for two days.

By this campaign children are taught about possible dangers of trucks in road traffic and the correct behaviour in such situations. Using simulated accidents, they learned more about the dangers of a blind spot and about a truck driver's view from a driver's cab.

During the two days, the Gütersloh police, our colleague Natascha Broomhall, Hans-Peter Borchardt and Sven Schneider were answering all questions concerning traffic education and trucks to the pupils.
