Within the context of inbound logistics, Duvenbeck supplies the production and assembly locations. For this purpose

• we maintain consolidation centres and external supply depots
• we undertake cross-docks
• and we manage trailer yards to implement warehouse-on-wheels concepts

Through the warehouse-on-wheels concept in conjunction with trailer yard, it is possible to realise production systems without further warehouse space. The production line is supplied directly from the trailer or from the swap-body trailer. The benefits are obvious:

• Short processing times when docking
• Use of transport equipment with maximum volume
• Reduction of freight costs by avoiding HGV downtime at the works
• Saving of handling stages in the delivery process

We have the required expertise to execute this, we use our own management software and special equipment and work with jumbo swap-body trailers and mega-trailers.
